Location and access

The lodge is situated on the southern slope of the Nyamuma hills within Serengeti National Park, approximately 36 km (50 minutes by road) from Seronera airstrip. Access is from Kilimanjaro International Airport, followed by a domestic flight to Seronera then road transfer. An overland option from Arusha is also available (~335 km, approximately 7 hours depending on track conditions).

When to visit

Serengeti can be visited year-round, but the dry season (June to October) makes wildlife observation easier around water points. The great wildebeest migration crosses the western sector of the park — the Mbalageti area — typically between May and July, an interesting period from this lodge. Rainy seasons (March–May and November) offer greener landscapes and often lower rates, but some tracks become challenging.
