The camp is located near Malanja, within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, close to the Elerai River and Maasai villages. The nearest airport is Arusha (ARK), approximately 170 km away, roughly three hours' drive. The road is paved to the Conservation Area entrance, then becomes a well-maintained track. From Manyara, allow about 1.5 hours; from Karatu, about 1 hour to the camp.

The Ngorongoro crater is the main draw: an intact caldera with high wildlife density (lions, elephants, buffalo; black rhinoceros are present but sightings remain rare and luck-dependent).
